Spark is a liquidity protocol built to solve one of DeFi’s oldest problems: fragmented liquidity and unstable yields across chains. Backed by Sky’s $6.5B+ stablecoin reserves, Spark powers yield.
Internally, Spark was confident. They’d hit product-market fit. Their integrations were growing. But externally, awareness hadn’t caught up.
To change that, Spark became the first project to launch on Cookie SNAPS, a creator-to-project marketplace within cookie.fun with a built-in rewards & airdrop campaigns system that recognizes CT creators who contribute to projects’ mindshare. It uses SNAP points to score and reward content on CT.
In May 2025, Spark launched a multi-phase campaign on Cookie SNAPS. The goal was simple: make Spark impossible to ignore. That meant building momentum through attention loops, scaling global reach, and finally quantifying its brand lift in real-time.

Spark designed its SNAPS campaign around four key milestones: the launch (May 22), expansion to new chains (May 31), the $SPK token reveal (June 4), and the final airdrop push (June 26). Each era synced with the live leaderboard, turning announcements into content spikes. Cookie SNAPS scored posts in real-time, rewarding creators based on alignment, engagement, loyalty, mindshare, and more.
From DeFi TVL to CT Awareness
Spark had the numbers. It was one of the top protocols by TVL, powering real liquidity across DeFi. But on X? Mindshare was minimal.
They needed to fix that fast. That meant:
- Building awareness beyond DeFi insiders
- Showcase its DeFi dominance with credibility
- Track results with data they could show to investors and partners
Visibility Spiked. Sentiment and mindshare followed.
Cookie SNAPS operates as a real-time campaign engine. When Spark went live on the platform, creators could discover the campaign through cookie.fun and instantly start earning SNAP points. Cookie AI continuously scanned crypto Twitter (CT), attributing points based on content relevance, engagement, and alignment with Spark's narrative. Shortly after a post goes live, the leaderboard updates.
The results spoke for themselves. Spark’s mindshare jumped from 0.02% to over 2.1% in just a few days, a coordinated 8,200%+ surge in visibility. (See Graph 1: Mindshare Growth)

And sentiment followed. From May 21 to June 26, each announcement made by Cookie DAO correlated with spikes in both positive public sentiment and mindshare. One post alone drove over 243,000 impressions. (Graph 3: Mindshare and Sentiment Growth Timeline)

After the $SPK airdrop on June 26, sentiment dipped briefly as the reward window closed, which is standard.

Creators showed up globally.
Before the campaign, Spark had around 1,300 creators ever talking about them. By the end? Over 17,000 had joined the Spark SNAPS leaderboard.
On June 21 alone, a single announcement helped drive a 2,000-snapper spike. (Graph 4: New Snappers Per Day)

The campaign had a truly global reach. While English and Chinese creators led in overall volume, Spark saw meaningful traction across regions, with Turkish, Vietnamese, and Korean communities consistently contributing high-quality content and securing top spots on the leaderboard (Graph 5: New Snappers per language).

Crucially, Cookie SNAPS allowed Spark to identify and reward high-quality contributors, not just KOLs with inflated followings. Standouts included:
- vohvohh (English): 10,869 SEP*, 5K Smart Followers, 103K total followers
- Crypto77qi (Chinese): 2,422 SEP*, 68K total followers
- KriptoLisa (Turkish): 693 SEP*, 77K total followers
Cookie SNAPS turned campaign performance into trackable, real-time KPIs, ranking creators not by volume alone but by actual influence and alignment.
